A Night with the Mighty Wurlitzer, featuring world-renowned organist Cameron Carpenter

On Friday, October 7, 2011 the Byrd Theatre Foundation welcomes world-renowned organist Cameron Carpenter from Berlin, Germany to play the Theatre's Wurlitzer Organ!

A distinctive and talented virtuoso, Cameron Carpenter visits the United States only a handful of times each year. His musical repertoire includes a range of work- original pieces, classical and contemporary, pop selections. A full concert given on the unique, Wurlitzer Organ is a rare occurence, which also makes this a not-to-miss event!

As the Byrd Theatre Foundation's signature fundraising event in 2011, Cameron Carpenter's show will provide a unique experience to music lovers while supporting the Foundation's mission to restore and preserve the majestic Byrd Theatre.

Doors Open - 7:15
Show Starts - 8 p.m. with a brief intermission halfway through the show.
Approximate Show Ending Time - 9:30 p.m.
Attire- Casual
***VIP Ticketing includes a reception from 6:30-7:15 p.m. at the Byrd Theatre prior to the performance.
Refreshments, including a cash bar, will be available in the Byrd Theatre lobby.

Cameron Carpenter merchandise will be sold in the lobby.
Byrd Theatre Foundation merchandise will also be sold in the lobby.
